THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN POSSIBLE MEMBERSHIP!  We are actively recruiting residents, businesses, non-profits, and other organizations to join and become part of the team.  Members receive a number of benefits as well as opportunities to access an array of valuable business and support services.  Members volunteer volunteer as part of a committee to help revitalize Gibson Community Center, a valuable community asset, by helping us inform the community about programs and services, Being an active part of a committees provides excellent opportunities to contribute toward programming, services, and development of positive solutions that address issues that thrive within our communities.  See committe options and descriptions below:

VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES & DESCRIPTIONS:

Facilities - assist with maintenance. cleaning, and aesthetics of facilities including setup/breakdown of tables/chairs, preventative maintenance, minor repairs, window treatments, appliance maintenance, beautification, etc.  Also assist with planning, implementing, and coordinating community activities and events (maximum 1 monthly, minimum 1 quarterly)

Grants - research, review, and assist with development of annual grant writing plan as well as preparing grant applications/proposals

Sponsorships - review of requests for eligible youth and adult sponsorships, make recommendations, vote

Community Outreach & Marketing - increase awareness and represent organization at various networking and business events
